A 290 g bird flying along at 5.8 m/s sees a 9.0 g insect heading
straight toward it with a speed of 25 m/s (as measured by an
observer on the ground, not by the bird). The bird opens its mouth
wide and enjoys a nice lunch. What is the bird’s speed immediately
after swallowing?
I tried plugging in the numbers using answers from other
questions and got 3.8m/s but it says it is wrong:
0.29*5.8 + 0.009*(-25) = 0.38*V
